Two men from British Columbia have been released on bail after being accused of trafficking marijuana in this province.
Police say that Paul Jordan O’Neill, 44, and Ryan Michael Urbianick, 38, had more than three kilograms of marijuana and more than $5,000 worth of cash obtained by crime in their possession when they were arrested last night. Urbianick is additionally accused of possessing heroin.
The two men were each released on a $5,000 cash recognizance, and ordered to live at their respective addresses in B.C. They have also been ordered not to contact one another, and to appear in provincial court in St. John’s again in May.
Two men from BC, ages 45 and 49, are facing drug-related charges following a drug bust in the capital city last night.
Four people were arrested last night following the seizure of approximately 47 pounds of marijuana, $83,000 in cash, and a small amount of heroin.
The two accused are each facing charges of trafficking, possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of heroin, money laundering, and possession of the proceeds of crime.
A man and woman from the St. Philips area were detained but subsequently released. The investigation continues and further charges are pending.
